Job summary

Agincare is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our projects team. You will support clients with daily activities in their homes, providing companionship, personal care, meals, and light domestic tasks. This role involves flexible travel to various locations and working to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

You must have UK driving experience, an active driving licence, and willingness to relocate as required. We offer training and progression opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Six months care experience or more in the UK.
• Over 21 years old due to car hire rules in some locations.
• Hold a full UK driving licence for 12+ months and willing to drive in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and social engagement with clients.
• Personal care support: bathing, dressing, oral care as needed.
• Meal preparation and assisting with healthy eating.

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work

Over the age of 21 (Due to the rules set by our car hire providers)

You must have held a full driving licence in UK for more than twelve months and be willing to drive in the UK

• 6 Months Care Experience in the UK
• Flexibility to relocate to different locations as and when required
• A positive, professional & empathetic approach

The role of a project Care Assistant

This is an exciting and fulfilling opportunity. You will be working alongside different NHS trusts and councils, supporting people with reablement and end of life care in their own homes after being discharged from hospital. This is a community-based role where no two days are the same.

You will be supporting clients with a range of daily activities including

• Companionship – providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care – supporting with a wash, bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
• Meals – supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks – light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility – supporting the client to live as independently as possible.
• EOL – emotional support
