Job summary

Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a Permanent Band 2/3 Healthcare Support Worker. You will support clinical teams on the ward, provide patient care, and learn NHS systems to deliver safe, high-quality care.

The role is offered with an attractive benefits package, developing through initial training to gain the Care Certificate. Interviews are in person; visa sponsorship not available; starting with Band 2 with possible progression to Band 3.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and be able to engage with other team members effectively, liaise with fellow professionals to support the safe care of our patients.
• The ability to use your own initiative and be responsive to instruction.
• A willingness to learn.
