Job summary

BC US LLC in Immokalee, FL is seeking a Processing Technician I to assist the technical operations manager in a fast-paced animal vivarium environment, performing processing tasks on client-owned NHPs including TB testing, weights, health observations, and related duties. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year's related experience required.
• ALAT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently follow guidelines, policies, and SOPs.
• Comply with regulatory, health and safety programs.
• Conduct daily health observations of NHPs.
• Administer NHP treatments via topical, oral, SQ, IV, IM, ID.
• Perform TB tests and reads on NHPs.
• Perform O&P swab and fecal collection from NHPs.
• Monitor hospitalized NHPS.
• Processing preparation and cleanup.
• Other duties as assigned.
