General Summary of the Position
Serving as a unifying leader across all five campuses, the NextGen Pastor provides strategic, spiritual, and cultural leadership for NextGen Ministries—encompassing Grace K!DS and Grace Student Ministry. Dedicated to equipping children, students, and parents to be and make disciples, this role drives alignment and shared vision across every campus, empowers and mentors campus NextGen Directors, and establishes scalable systems adapted to each local community while exemplifying our core leadership values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Central Leadership: Provide big-picture vision and alignment for NextGen ministries across all campuses.
Team Supervision: Coach, develop, and supervise the campus-level NextGen ministry directors and pastors.
System Building: Create scalable playbooks, select shared curriculum, and define operational rhythms that fit Grace’s context.
Family Ministry: Develop and implement strategies that empower and equip parents to serve as the primary spiritual leaders for their children and students.
Collaboration: Direct cross-campus collaboration to align strategies, master calendars, and major ministry events.
Partnership: Support key initiatives across central departments—such as Operations, Communications, and Worship—to successfully execute retreats, camps, and major events.
Theological Framework: Ensure team alignment with Grace Community Church's theological doctrine, core beliefs, and ministry values.
Team Health: Model and protect spiritual, emotional, and ministry health in yourself and the teams you lead.

Education, Training, Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
Seminary or Master’s Degree Preferred
5+ years of leading multi-family ministries, both students and children, preferably in a large multi-site church setting.
An understanding of the Christian worldview and the ability to articulate those principles to others.
Work or Ministry Team Context:
This position is attached to the Old Jacksonville Campus and the Executive Pastor of Ministries. It is based out of the Tyler Office of Grace Community Church and is expected on-site at the Old Jacksonville Campus and other assigned campuses on Sunday mornings.
