Job summary

Cornerstonechurch is seeking an executive pastor to champion leadership and shepherding of staff and teams across Birth through Young Adults ministries. The Next Gen Executive Pastor will join the Executive Team and lead the Children’s Ministry Team (Birth–4th grade) and Student Ministries (5th–College/Young Adults), guiding them toward the church’s vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in ministry, biblical studies or divinity.
• 10+ years of full-time ministry experience, with at least 2 years in a church larger than 2000 members.
• Experience leading both Children's and Student Ministries.
• Aligns with Cornerstone's vision, values and doctrinal statement.
• Self-reliant, self-starter with ability to innovate and lead.

Responsibilities

• Culture – create and sustain a culture within the team based on church values.
• Vision – cast the overall church vision to the team and divisions.
• Personnel – develop leaders and recruit high-capacity staff.
• Strategy – design pathways for children and students to grow in faith.
• Financials – oversee budgeting for teams and stewardship of funds.
• Pastoral Care – provide care through the Executive leadership.
