Job summary

Publishers Circulation Fulfillment Inc. is seeking an Overnight Warehouse Lead Driver to perform early-morning residential newspaper deliveries while supporting warehouse operations at Plant 359 in Pittsburgh, PA.

This hourly, non-CDL role requires driving a personal vehicle and working night shifts in a fast-paced distribution environment. Eligible candidates must have a valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and willingness to perform both warehouse duties and route deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to use a computer and basic software.
• capability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform warehouse tasks.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload newspapers from delivery trucks.
• Assist in dispatching newspapers to drivers.
• Drive routes using personal vehicle for residential deliveries.
• Perform warehouse and distribution center tasks as needed.
• Show routes and verify open routes and product delivery while maintaining service levels.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly

WORK SCHEDULE

Overnight Early Morning Hours, 28 Hours per week.

Hours and Schedule: 5 days a week

MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENSE AND VEHICLE - PCF DOES NOT PROVIDE A VEHICLEFOR THESE DELIVERIES BUT WE DO PAY FOR YOUR MILEAGE!

*Driving of personal vehicles is required along with performing the manual and technical labor aspects of the Distribution Center operations*

Overnight Warehouse Lead Driver

This is an hourly (non-exempt) and non-CDL position working both in the warehouse and driving doing residential deliveries of various publications in the early am, third shift hours.

PCF is a Distribution Service Provider focused on the delivery needs of the high-density, high-pressure Northeast region. PCF has almost 40 years of experience completing deliveries from southern New Jersey to southern New Hampshire.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unloads newspapers from delivery trucks
• Assists in dispatching newspapers to delivery drivers
• Drives routes using personal vehicle, covers open routes and delivers newspapers to residences
• Other duties and tasks may be required as assigned by management
• Show routes to new Delivery Service Providers and delivers open routesand product verification while maintaining adequate service levels

QualificationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• May be required to be trained and be able to use the pallet jack or other warehouse equipment.
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license in the state where residing, and automobile insurance at limits required by PCF.
• Ability to use computer and other office equipment.

Required Physical Abilities

• Able to unload bundles of newspapers (30 – 50 lbs each) multiple times on a daily basis.
• Able to operate automobile.
• Able to work in a warehouse type environment.
• Able to function at night in adverse conditions.
