Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. seeks a Newscast Director to coordinate all technical operators during the station's live and recorded broadcasts. You will supervise duties, ensure smooth production, and maintain high-energy newscasts.

You will serve as a liaison between engineering and production, train camera and CG operators for live broadcasts, switch video sources, and test equipment to guarantee proper operation.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in news operations and production (depending on market size).
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
• Proficiency with broadcast control equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
