Job summary

The NAB Leadership Foundation is seeking a skilled live news director to lead on-air broadcasts in Rochester, MN. You will direct live newscasts, collaborate with the production crew, design graphics, and ensure smooth operations during every segment.

• Direct live newscasts and coordinate with production crew.
• Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching and TV system ops.
• Leadership skills; supervisory experience preferred.
• Graphic design experience preferred.
• Ability to handle last-minute changes calmly during live broadcasts.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Qualifications

• Previous experience directing live newscasts (Preferred).
• Possess knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control and operations of television systems.
• Must be flexible and able to deal with unexpected show changes calmly.
• Proven leadership skills; prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Graphic design experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
