WWBT 12 On Your Side in Richmond, VA, is seeking a full-time producer for on-air and online news. The candidate should have solid news judgment, strong leadership, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced breaking-news environment.

You will produce newscasts for TV and our digital platforms, manage social media, and ensure SEO-friendly content. A college degree and experience in professional digital media are required.

Salary/Wage:

$21.65 - $22.60/hr.

Shift and Schedule:

Wed. - Sun. (mornings, but hours to be determined once training is complete)

Must be a strong writer for television and our station website.

Successful candidate must have solid news judgment, possess strong leadership skills, and be able to excel in a breaking news environment. Successful candidate will produce newscasts for TV as well as our digital platforms and social media. Must demonstrate leadership skills, work well with others, have a college degree, professional digital and social media experience, and a firm grasp of SEO techniques. Work schedule may include days, nights, and weekends. Previous experience required.
