Job summary

The KOMO station, part of Sinclair Broadcast Group, is seeking a full-time News Photojournalist in Seattle to cover day-to-day assignments, in-depth features, and investigative reporting. You'll shoot with Sony PXW-X400 cameras, lenses, lights, and carry out editing on Avid while transitioning to Adobe Premiere in 2027.

You must have at least 3 years of TV news shooting experience, strong editing skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of TV News shooting experience.
• Knowledge and skills in non-linear editing (Avid, Premiere).
• Team-player who can produce good stories under tight deadlines.
• You must be a problem solver that can think quickly in the field.

Responsibilities

• Shoot general assignment stories, live shots and natural sound packages under tight deadlines.
• Edit and deliver compelling stories for newscasts.
• Cover day-to-day general, in-depth features and investigative assignments.
