Job summary

Responsibilities include leading streaming workflows, managing newsroom systems like BitCentral and Megaphone, and partnering with news leadership on budget decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum four years' experience as a News Operations Manager in a major market.
• Background in photojournalism, production, editing, IT, streaming systems or engineering.
• Must be flexible to work off-hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Leads advanced technology-related strategy and technical support for newsroom content creation across streaming, digital, OTT and traditional broadcast platforms.
• Leads with a streaming-first mindset and has a strong grasp of streaming technology including TriCaster.
• Directly supervises key personnel involved in field operations, live streaming, and post-production
• Manages software systems critical to newsroom workflows and advises on best practices, emerging streaming trends and other technological opportunities.
