Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mass Communications, Journalism or Broadcast preferred.
• 7+ years of newsroom management experience and leadership in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with breaking weather and major news, investigative and enterprise journalism.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute strategic plans to grow audience across platforms.
• Lead and coach editors, producers, and anchors; hire and develop talent.
• Oversee day-to-day news coverage, breaking news, and enterprise storytelling.
• Manage budgets and collaborate across the newsroom to improve processes.
