Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full-power broadcast television stations in the U.S., including stations in 14 of the top 15 largest DMAs and duopolies in 11 DMAs, such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. They distribute sports, entertainment, and syndicated content, and produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news weekly, leveraging demand for the FOX Network’s content.
FOX 35 Orlando is seeking a dynamic, engaging, and experienced journalist to anchor weekend evening newscasts. The role involves enterprise investigative content during the week, filling in for other anchors, and collaborating with news managers and producers to develop content and strategies for weekend broadcasts.
We seek a proactive individual with a proven track record of investigative journalism, tough questioning, and producing engaging content for broadcast and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be a leading figure in the market, with a team of experienced journalists.
The responsibilities include:
Qualifications include a minimum of three years’ experience as a reporter or anchor in a medium or large market, a college degree in communications or journalism preferred, strong journalistic judgment, excellent storytelling, and communication skills, and proficiency with newsroom technology.
This position offers a pay range of $90,000 to $101,854 annually, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and others. Equal opportunity employment statement included.
