1010 WINS is looking for high-energy communicators with strong writing and storytelling skills to help engage a new generation of news consumers. Pay Transparency:

The anticipated starting salary range for New York based individuals expressing interest in this position is $55.59/hr.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Responsibilities

• Candidates must demonstrate strong news judgment and must understand the powerful voice and responsibilities of our brands.
• We are looking for an idea-generating journalist with a positive attitude and standout work ethic.
• Candidates must demonstrate the ability to collaborate on story ideas and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates must be detail oriented and cool under the pressure of meeting tight deadlines.
• Experience in the New York Metropolitan area is a plus.
• Must be willing to work a schedule that will include holidays, nights, overnights, and/or weekends.

• Operate studio board while on air

• Protect the station's FCC license
• Other duties as required by management
• A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
