Job summary

TEGNA’s powerhouse NEWS CENTER Maine ( WCSH/WLBZ ) is looking for a Morning News Anchor who communicates news and information effortlessly and authentically. This position is full-time and is based in our Portland newsroom.

We are looking for a team-first journalist and news hound with a heart. Someone who enjoys anchoring newscasts, sharing the latest news for our statewide audience on broadcast and stream. We expect a journalist who fully embraces our broadcast, streaming, and mobile platforms.

In this job you will copy edit scripts, anchor our top-rated newscasts from 4:30–9 a.m. Monday through Friday (plus fill-in anchor occasionally weekend mornings) and produce daily mobile shorts.

Pay Range

$90,000—$100,000 USD
