Job summary

Infant Hearing Screening Specialists is seeking a part-time Newborn Hearing Screener to perform hospital-based newborn hearing screens in accordance with IHSS and state guidelines. You will maintain records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and support infection control while contributing to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities include proper patient identification, equipment maintenance, and reporting concerns to the Area Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic mathematical calculations required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct newborn hearing screens as assigned.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Ensure correct patient identification and result labeling.
• Maintain hospital and IHSS records/logs as required.
• Report equipment issues to Biomedical Engineering.
