Job summary

Partners Group, based in New York, seeks a professional to join the Private Credit Investment team. You will engage in sourcing, due diligence, execution, and ongoing portfolio monitoring of private credit investments in a dynamic global private markets environment.

Requirements include 2+ years in an investment role (private credit/PE, debt advisory, or I-banking), strong financial modelling, and the right to work in the US.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in private credit / private equity, debt advisory, or investment banking (LBO, M&A).
• Strong interest in mid-market investing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships over time.
• Outstanding analytical skills and financial modelling ability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top university. Candidate must have the right to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis for assessing prospective private credit investments.
• Perform LBO modelling, analyze due diligence materials, write investment committee memorandums, and participate in IC discussions.
• Manage private credit investments including monitoring company performance.
• Assist senior investment team in building relationships with sponsors and external parties.
• Support valuation assessments, product reporting, market research and fundraising activities.
