Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking an enthusiastic driver for NYC routes operating a 26 ft box truck. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver high levels of customer service daily.

Requirements include a Class B license with a clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card, at least 3 years' experience with a 26 ft box truck, and the ability to push/pull up to 200 lbs.

Qualifications

• Class B license with clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Touch freight experience and strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA using a 26 ft box truck.
• Collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain relationships.
• Load/unload and organize the truck per schedule.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations and comply with DOT rules.

Daniels Health is offering a $3,000 new hire bonus for joining our amazing team in Easton!

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Easton, PA area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA
• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
