Job summary

East Coast Yacht Sales, Mystic, Connecticut, seeks an experienced New Yacht Technician to support commissioning, handover, and after-sales service for our new boat brands. Some travel to customers’ boats is required in this role.

Relocation to Mystic, CT before starting is required. The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and 8-hour shifts, offering a salary between $60,000 and $75,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience with new yachts.
• Strong DC/AC electrical knowledge.
• Experience with commissioning and handover processes.
• Excellent communication with customers.

Responsibilities

East Coast Yacht Sales has open positions for an experienced New Yacht Technician in Mystic, Connecticut.

Easy Coast Yacht Sales is seeking experienced marine technicians to help with commissioning, handover, and after-sales service for our new boat brands. The right candidate will have 3-5 years of hands‑on experience working, troubleshooting, and servicing customers who have purchased new boats. The primary brands this candidate will work on are Axopar, Sirena Yachts, Targa Boats, and J/Boats.

While this position is based in Mystic, Connecticut, there may be some travel via supplied service vehicles to customers’ boats.

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining inventory owned by ECYS in the general area
• Commissioning new boats
• Prepping new boats for owner to take delivery
• Traveling to customer boats for after‑sales warranty and servicing responsibilities
• Helping set up for boat shows in our service area
• Transporting boats via land or water when necessary

Skills Required Include:

• Technical knowledge of general marine systems
• Strong DC/AC electrical knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting skills
