Job summary

Follett Software, LLC in the United States seeks a Revenue Accountant to oversee recognition under ASC 606 and GAAP, ensuring accurate accounting for complex contracts, multi-element arrangements, and ongoing policy maintenance.

You will partner with contract review, reconciliations, and close teams, enhance internal controls, drive process improvements and automation, support external audits, and contribute to SSP framework reviews across the revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
• Ability to review and interpret complex contracts for revenue guidance.
• Proficiency in evaluating multi-element arrangements and policy documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue recognition activities in alignment with ASC 606 and GAAP.
• Maintain SSP frameworks, review quarterly adjustments, and draft technical accounting policies.
• Review contracts and RFPs to ensure accurate revenue treatment.
• Support monthly reconciliation and close processes with analytical reviews.

RFP & Contract Review:

• Review contracts and RFPs to ensure accurate revenue treatment.
• Support monthly reconciliation and close processes with analytical reviews.

Audit & Internal Controls:

• Assist with external audits and enhance internal revenue controls.
• Maintain end-to-end revenue process documentation.

Process Improvement & Integration:

• Integrate acquired entities and perform UAT for new SKUs.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
