Job summary

KEMET Electronics Corporation, part of the YAGEO Group, is seeking a New Product Development Engineer to drive product and process development at the Simpsonville Innovation Center for tantalum polymer capacitors. You’ll bridge research, engineering, and manufacturing to move concepts from lab to pilot to production.

Collaborating with R&D, engineering, operations, quality, and manufacturing teams, you’ll lead experiments, validate new materials, and help scale up processes while advancing

Summary

YAGEO Group / KEMET Electronics is seeking a New Product Development Engineer to lead product and process development initiatives within our Simpsonville Innovation Center for Tantalum Polymer Capacitors. In this role, you will work at the intersection of research, engineering, and manufacturing to develop next‑generation electronic components and advanced materials solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the entire innovation cycle, from concept development and experimental design to pilot‑scale implementation and manufacturing launch. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across R&D, engineering, operations, quality, and manufacturing to bring new technologies from the laboratory to commercial reality.
