Job Description

Your role includes greeting new patients, taking records (pictures and x-rays), and working closely with a supportive team that will foster your growth through hands-on experience and on-the-job training to help you become an orthodontic assistant.

Responsibilities

• Taking clear x-rays and photos
• Taking accurate scans for retainers
• Assisting in sterilizing equipment
• Maintaining a clean environment
• Collaborating with the Treatment Coordinator for patient case acceptance
• Helping meet clinic goals
• Providing information on payment options and insurance coverage
• Performing administrative duties when traveling to other clinics
• Participating in on-the-job training for orthodontic assisting
• Participating in marketing events
• Other assigned tasks

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Computer skills
• Willingness to travel to other practice locations

Working Hours and Location

• Monday – Wednesday: 8:45am – 5:00pm
• Thursday & Friday: 6:45am – 3:00pm
• Saturday: 7:45am – 1:00pm (two Saturdays per month)
• Additional shifts as scheduled
• Full-time position
• Starting pay: $16.00/hour, increasing to $17.50 upon transition to Orthodontic Assistant
