The US Oncology Network is looking for a New Patient Coordinator to join our team at Texas Oncology. This full-time position will support the Revenue Cycle Department at our 1000 Coulter Drive clinic in Amarillo, Texas. Typical work week is Monday through Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p.
Under direct supervision, responsible for new patient coordination activities that may include account and insurance registration and scheduling of new patients for exams and procedures. Maintains patient records, prepares forms, verifies information, and resolves routine and non-routine problems. Follows standard procedures and pre-established guidelines to complete tasks. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, and US Oncology’s Shared Values.

This is an onsite position. The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work will involve in-person and virtual interaction with co-workers and management and/or clients. Work may require minimal travel by air or automobile to office sites.
