Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking a New Parent Support Professional to support Families with expectant parents and children from birth to 3 years, including military families. The role emphasizes confidential service delivery, risk assessment, and links to community resources to ensure safe, nurturing environments for children.

Qualified candidates must hold LCSW/LMFT or RN licenses, have home visitation experience, a viable driver's license, and be able to travel.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and active license as an LCSW, LMFT or RN.
• Two years direct work experience in child abuse or domestic abuse, or maternal or child health or medical social work.
• Home visitation experience.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Families with expectant parents and parents of children birth to 3 years.
• Protect privacy and confidentiality of client information.
• Identify and report suspected child abuse and domestic abuse.
• Assess developmental milestones and referral procedures for special needs or delays.
• Maintain tracking system with case status and participate in monthly calls.
