Job summary

MOOYAH is seeking a General Manager for a new Matthews, NC location opening on Pineville-Matthews Road. The GM will lead daily restaurant operations, ensure food safety and quality, and drive guest satisfaction.

You will manage budgets, schedules, payroll, and team development, with responsibility for hiring and staff mentoring to uphold brand standards. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in restaurant leadership, 3+ years as GM in quick serve, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Hospitality preferred.
• Minimum 5 years working in a restaurant environment with career progression and verifiable results.
• Minimum 3 years as a General Manager in a quick casual or quick serve environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and back-of-house restaurant systems such as labor schedulers, inventory tracking systems, ordering, etc.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the restaurant is operating at the highest standards and compliant with regulations.
• Enforces all operations guidelines defined in the Operations Manual.
• Executes store systems including inventory control and equipment maintenance.
• Meets budgeted sales and EBITDA objectives and assists in annual budgeting.
• Manages weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial controls and payroll reviews.
• Ensures proper invoice coding, coupons, cash handling, and internal processes.
• Oversees labor costs through scheduling and payroll reviews.
• Maintains quality standards and staff training programs.
