Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a New Hire Trainer in Debone to introduce new associates to training, safety practices, and production knowledge needed to succeed on the line. You will guide team members through hands-on training, coach proper work techniques, and reinforce safe and efficient job habits to build a strong, safety‑minded team from day one.

The role emphasizes teaching skills, teamwork, and a culture of safety and excellence within a poultry processing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field.
• 6 months of training experience.
• High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.
• Experience in a poultry processing/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Introduce associates to their jobs, including basic training, rotation procedures, safety work habits, donning and doffing procedures and clock‑in and clock‑out procedures.
• Maintain a skill level at or above the required certification level for all positions.
• Be able to perform a scrape test and evaluate new associates.
• Review performance with associates and advise of strengths and weaknesses.
• Forward documentation of all evaluations to Supervisor.
• Monitor associate's progress and report to supervisor on a daily basis.
• Facilitate incorporation of associate into work team.
