Job summary

IMEG Corporation seeks a Structural Engineering New Graduate in Fairfax, VA. This entry-level role provides hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship and training to grow your expertise from day one.

You will support development of structural systems, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to quality control, schedule management, and multidisciplinary coordination for commercial and institutional projects.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering or equivalent is required.
• MS degree is required.
• Knowledge of design techniques for steel, concrete, wood, masonry structures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of structural systems using engineering software and tools.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
• Support execution of consulting projects as part of a project team.
• Assist with project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
