Description: New Graduate RN Residency at UCHealth Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo, CO. Department: 2 East Tower. FTE: Full Time, 0.9 (72 hours per pay period). Shift: Days. Pay: $32.65 - $49.62/hour, depending on experience.
Summary: Enrolled in a Nurse Residency Program, providing direct patient care following the nursing process, within the scope and standards of practice, aligned with organizational policies, values, and mission.
Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessments; monitor and communicate patient conditions; collaborate across disciplines for patient transfer, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support; educate patients and families tailored to their needs; delegate tasks effectively; demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; valid RN license; BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) valid through 60 days post-hire.
