Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 6 Palm Med/Surg Cardiac Telemetry Team. The unit cares for adult and geriatric cardiac patients, including AMI, ACS, CHF, arrhythmias, and post-operative cardiac care.

Eligible candidates must have completed an accredited nursing program and hold a valid RN license in the practicing state. Expect a role focused on nursing process delivery, evidence-based practice, and patient safety within a dynamic interprofessional team at Atrium

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• 6 months RN experience minimum; not for new grads.
• RN license issued by the state in which you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.

Where You Will Work:

3 Palm Med/Surg Cardiac Telemetry Team

• 6 Palm is a 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit.Patientpopulation consists of adult and geriatric medical and surgical cardiac patients.

• Common diagnosis: AMI, ACS, CHF (primary diagnosis), complex arrhythmias, chest pain with elevated troponins, stable post STEMI/NSTEMI, CAD, PVD, AVR, MVR, and pre andpost -op CABG.

• Cardiac drips, chest tubes, pre & post pacemakers, stable post- opepicardial pacers, ICD, PCI, EPS, CTO, ablations, endarterectomy, thoracotomy, peripheral artery repair, and vascular surgery.

• For the past 5yearsAH Pineville received the IBM Watson Top 50 CV Hospital. The awardvalidatesand highlights outstanding CV quality performance in heart failure, PCI, AMI, and CABG. This puts Pineville’s CV program in the top 2% of community-based CV programs in the country.

ExpectationsWe’reLooking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for newgrads
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
