Barnes Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. The facility features 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms, and four ICU rooms, designed to provide a comforting, innovative, and efficient environment focused on the patient experience. The campus includes a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path connecting to Millennium Park.
The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care, after completing a nursing program and before licensure. Licensure must be obtained within 90 days of graduation from an accredited nursing school to remain employed in an HSO in Missouri.
