Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Denver, CO is hiring an Architectural Lighting New Graduate to gain hands-on experience in design, analysis, and project execution. You will assist senior staff with luminaire selections, layouts, illuminance targets, and client presentations using Go-to tools like Revit and AGI32.

The role focuses on hospitality, mixed-use, education, and MEP environments with an ESOP-owned firm culture and opportunities for growth in a national practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Theatrical Lighting Design, Interior Design, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of lighting design concepts and industry standards.
• Familiarity with BIM software and design documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior lighting design staff with design and documentation tasks for lighting projects.
• Determine illuminance targets and design standards per IES recommendations.
• Assist in selecting luminaire options and specifying them in luminaire schedules.
• Create client presentation graphics using PowerPoint, Bluebeam, InDesign, Photoshop, AGI32, etc.
• Draft lighting layouts and zone schedules in Revit or AutoCAD; coordinate with electrical engineers and other stakeholders.
