Job summary

HNTB Corporation in the Boston area is seeking New Grad Engineers to join the Structures Inspection group for Summer 2027. You will assist in producing and modifying design calculations, reports and drawings as part of a project team.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required; a Master’s degree and EIT certification are a plus. Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD is helpful as you build core design skills on infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret design plans.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
