Job summary

HNTB, in Boston, is seeking New Grad Engineers to join the Structures Inspection group for Summer 2027. You will help produce design calculations, technical reports, and plans for a diverse range of infrastructure projects, collaborating with a project team to deliver quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering, strong Excel skills, and an interest in transportation and infrastructure. Masters and EIT are a plus; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• EIT certification preferred; Master’s degree encouraged.
• Strong MS Office proficiency and ability to read and interpret design plans.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Assists in preparation/modification of reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Supports organization of design files and administrative tasks.
• Contributes to data collection, field investigations, and project design activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
