Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a New Graduate Engineer, Software Security for Starlink. You will help design security-critical infrastructure across space-ground components, from satellites to gateways and routers, ensuring resilient, defensible systems.

You should be graduating in 2026/2027 with knowledge in software, security design, and cryptography; familiarity with TPMs/HSMs is a plus. Willingness to work extended hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM discipline
• Experience with one or more software development languages (Python, C++, Golang)
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions for OS or distributed/large-scale systems
• Graduating in the class of 2026 or 2027

Responsibilities

• Design security-critical infrastructure for Starlink
• Develop security features for Starlink systems including router, dish, gateways, and satellites
• Incorporate security into factory processes and provide network services to support this
• Maintain and improve security posture of production systems
• Prototype security improvements and test designs
