Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Haverhill, MA, seeks a Registered Nurse for our 20-bed Transitional Care Unit. This role offers 36 hours per week, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with every other weekend, and base pay of $40.00–$44.00 per hour plus applicable diffs.

New grads are welcome to apply and will be supported by a collaborative nursing team. You will supervise nursing assistants, conduct rounds, document care, administer medications, and ensure compliance with all regulations while delivering

Formación

• Graduate of accredited RN program.
• Massachusetts RN license required.
• Knowledge of geriatric nursing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises and evaluates all direct resident care and initiates corrective action as necessary.
• Provides clinical supervision of nursing assistants providing direct resident care
• Assumes responsibility for compliance with federal, state and local regulations within the assigned unit.
• Ensures that all physician renewal orders and physician documentation is timely and appropriate.
• Conducts resident rounds, reporting problems to nursing supervisor and initiating corrective action.
• Identifies resident problems and emergency situations, and initiates immediate "life saving" measures within the scope of nursing practice and in accordance with advance directives.
• Administers and documents medications, enteral nutrition, and treatments per the physician’s order and accurately records all care provided and observations daily.
