Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a registered nurse for the 3H Medical Telemetry unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus. This full-time role involves 36 hours per week with three 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and every third weekend.

The RN will provide evidence-based nursing care, document in the EHR, and participate in unitwide safety and quality initiatives. The candidate should have RN licensure and BLS; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice where RN provides services.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in professional governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans; collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure patient safety.
• Possibly administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Float to other units as needed to meet care demands.
