Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per AHA or Red Cross.
- ACLS certification per AHA required at hire or within first year.
- New grad or less than one year RN experience or transitioning to acute inpatient care.
Responsibilities
- Participate in residency core curriculum based on learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
- Establish and revise patient care priorities based on acuity and resources.
- Respond to data indicating risk and take action to mitigate it.
- Seek supervision when needed to perform safely.
- Document in patients' medical records.
