Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital is seeking a New Grad RN Resident in Avon, OH to join the Complex Medical Care Unit. This structured residency supports new graduates in developing essential nursing skills while delivering high-quality patient care.

The role offers a full-time night shift and provides a unique pathway to professional growth through a one-year accredited Nurse Residency program, with supportive supervision and a dedicated success coach.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN)
• New grad or less than one year of RN work experience
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred for Critical Care areas

Responsibilities

• Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors.
• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when needed.
• Document in patients’ medical records.
