Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH invites recent nursing graduates to join its New Grad RN Resident program in the Cardiovascular Stepdown units. You will build skills with a structured residency, guided by a success coach, and engage in evidence-based practices to promote patient outcomes.

The program requires ADN or BSN from an accredited school, RN licensure, and BLS certification. You will participate in a core curriculum, rotate shifts, and document care while prioritizing patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program).
• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
