Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a New Grad RN Resident for the ENT/Plastics & Internal Medicine unit at the Main Campus. This residency focuses on transitioning new graduates to competent, evidence-based bedside care in a high-acuity environment.

You will participate in a residency core curriculum, provide direct nursing care, and collaborate with the care team to set priorities, respond to patient risk, document care, and ensure patient safety during day and night rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in the applicable state.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• New graduate RN or <1 year RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity and resources.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and take corrective action to reduce or prevent risk.
• Document inpatients’ medical records and coordinate care.
