Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a New Grad RN Resident for the 5 West-Marymount Hospital complex medicine unit in Garfield Heights. You will participate in a one-year Nurse Residency program and provide direct patient care on a 12-bed telemetry unit, with day/night rotating shifts and every other weekend/holiday rotation.

New grads or nurses transitioning to acute care gain hands-on experience, guided by a coach, with tuition reimbursement and loan repayment options.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• New graduate or less than one year RN work experience.
• Preferred BSN degree.

Responsibilities

• Participate in residency core curriculum tailored to learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity, preferences, resources).
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and take corrective actions.
• Seek supervision and assistance when unable to perform safely.
• Document in patients’ medical records.
