Centerpoint Medical Center offers a Nurse Residency Program designed to support graduates transitioning to registered nurse practice with hands-on experiences and mentorship. The program provides clinical training, monthly education sessions, and preceptorship under experienced nurse leaders.
Eligible May 2026 graduates may participate, with sponsorship options for eligible international candidates. Applicants should plan for Day One CPT and possible relocation to Kansas City, MO, to begin in
Qualifications
- BLS certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
- ACLS certification obtained within 1 year of employment.
- Other certifications may be required during employment.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Registered Nurse license or Graduate Nurse in the state.
- No previous nursing experience required.
- Some travel may be needed for training.
Responsabilités
- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, report changes.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as ordered; document care.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses; notify provider as needed.
- Deliver exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and needs.
- Educate patients, families and caregivers about conditions, plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
