Job summary

Memorial Health in Illinois is seeking a New Graduate Registered Nurse for a full-time on-site role. The program includes a one-year Nurse Residency with coaching from a nurse manager, preceptors, and mentors, plus an evidence-based practice project.

Youll receive structured on-the-job plus classroom education, with support to transition from new graduate to professional nurse and participate in an outcome improvement focus for patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as RN in State of Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.
• Ability to position and transfer adult patients.
• Prolonged standing and basic clinical tasks.
• IV insertion and IM injections.
• Exposure to blood and bodily fluids as part of clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for a designated group of patients using the nursing process.
• Delegate tasks, supervise, and collaborate with unit staff.
• Participate in evidence-based practice and professional development.
