Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a New Grad RN Resident for the 2 East/2 South-Marymount Hospital med/surg units in Garfield Heights, OH. You will deliver direct nursing care, participate in a structured residency, and collaborate with physicians, therapists and case management to support patient recovery.

Eligible candidates have RN licensure, BLS, and a nursing degree (Diploma/ADN/BSN). The position offers day/night rotations and a comprehensive benefits package including loan

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross
• New grad or <1 year RN direct patient care experience, or moving from non-inpatient to acute inpatient setting with <1 year current acute RN experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering direct nursing care to patients and families
• Establish and revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, preferences and resources
• Document in patients’ medical records and communicate with the care team
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and take corrective action
