Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital is seeking an RN Resident for the 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. shift on the 3rd Floor Complex Medical Care unit. You will work with caregivers to deliver direct nursing care, interact with patients and families, and document care plans in medical records.

Minimum qualifications include an accredited nursing degree, active RN license, BLS, and ACLS if in CCU areas. Relocation and career development benefits are available in this Magnet Hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification must be presented upon hire or within first year

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Interact with patients, families and visitors to supply healthcare information as needed.
• Document in patients’ medical records and revise priorities based on acuity and resources.
• Respond to data indicating patient risk and take corrective action when needed.
• Seek supervision and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
