Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s Nurse Residency Program at Belton Regional Medical Center invites new nurses to join a supportive, patient-centered team. You’ll engage in advanced clinical training, monthly sessions, and hands-on simulations designed to ease the transition from classroom to practice.

The program emphasizes mentoring, evidence-based projects, and collaborative care, with a focus on developing independent, high-quality nursing practice. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing completed prior to start date.
• Registered Nurse license or Graduate Nurse in Missouri within 90 days of graduation date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, report changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other nursing tasks as ordered; document care.
• Administer medications; monitor therapeutic responses and respond to adverse events.
• Provide responsive, compassionate care and address patient requests promptly.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.
