Job summary

UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a Registered Nurse Residency Intermediate Critical Care for new graduates starting in November, December and January. This full-time position features rotating shifts and a structured residency to develop critical care competencies in a supportive team.

The RN resident will collaborate with physicians and staff to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care, while prioritizing patient advocacy and safety across transitions in care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in applicable state required.
• NCLEX completion required.
• BSN preferred or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patient and support system using SBARQ communication.
• Perform nursing interventions, administer therapies, and monitor patient status.
• Participate in mentoring and precepting new residents.
