UC San Diego Health invites applications for the March 2027 Nurse Residency Program Cohort. This program supports newly licensed registered nurses with enhanced clinical learning, hands-on skill training, and a structured transition to practice within our Magnet-designated system in California.

Under supervision, the New Grad RN delivers nursing interventions, collaborates with the care team, and upholds policies while preparing for the March 5, 2027 cohort start; cover letter is recommended.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• California RN license by start date; interim permits may be considered.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at time of hire with plan to obtain ART within 6 months.
• Current PALS certification.
• Licensure and certification required by cohort start date.
• Less than six months of RN experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Under supervision, identify and implement nursing interventions for diverse patient populations.
• Direct and support other members of the nursing team; promote policy compliance.
• Evaluate results of nursing interventions and contribute to care planning.
• Foster professional relationships and teamwork within the unit.
