Salem Health’s Emergency Department in Salem, OR, is seeking a clinical nurse for the night shift in a busy Level II Trauma Center serving over 115,000 patients annually. This role requires a BSN or ADN with pathway to BSN/MSN, BLS, and an Oregon RN license, plus less than one year of RN staff nurse experience.

As a clinical nurse in Salem Health’s Emergency Department, you’ll be on the front lines of care at one of the busiest EDs on the West Coast, part of a Level II Trauma Center serving over 115,000 patients annually. This role demands quick critical thinking, strong clinical judgment, and compassionate communication. You’ll assess, plan, intervene, and document care for patients across the lifespan while collaborating with a highly skilled, interdisciplinary team. Whether you’re stabilizing a trauma patient, educating a family, or leading a shift as charge nurse, your expertise and adaptability help ensure excellent outcomes in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment. The weekly night shift schedule for this position will consist of three 12-hour shifts. Schedule may vary based on department need.
