Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a new graduate Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in New Albany, IN. The role is full-time, 36 hours weekly, with night shifts from 7pm to 7am and serves a 32-bed intermediate care unit between inpatient and critical care.

Ideal candidates hold Indiana RN licensure (or are graduates) and are prepared to obtain ACLS within 12 months of hire; BLS is required. EOE, competitive salaries, and excellent benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license or graduate of approved nursing program.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• ACLS Certification required (to be obtained within 12 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge as an on-shift team member.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care while coordinating with interprofessional team to meet patient needs.
